When we were doing Spaced, [Nick Frost] had to dismantle a gun for the, uh, show. So he took a replica MP5 home, which is a machine gun, took all his clothes off - [laughs], no. He stripped to the waist - it was summertime - put a blindfold on and was kind of doing this - took the blindfold off to check the watch and there were eight armed police officers in the living room, with their guns drawn - and they’d made the decision that if Nick’d gone like that - [mimes reaching for the gun] - as opposed to  that - [puts hands up] - which he did, they were going to shoot him. And then he phoned me up afterwards, he was like, [high pitched, wavery voice] “Simon!”
